Since its founding on Newbury Street in 2019, Pellas Gallery has become a cornerstone of Boston’s contemporary art scene, known for championing emerging artists while presenting international voices that expand the cultural dialogue of the city. The new Coolidge Corner space marks a strategic expansion into one of Greater Boston’s most vibrant and community-driven neighborhoods.
Unlike the gallery’s Newbury Street flagship, which emphasizes established and blue-chip contemporary works, the Coolidge Corner location will focus on discovery, experimentation, and accessibility — serving as a platform for new artists, first-time collectors, and educational programming.
“Our goal with the Coolidge Corner space is to create a true neighborhood gallery,” said the Pellas Gallery team. “We want this to be a place where collectors are born, artists are discovered, and contemporary art becomes part of everyday life.”
The new gallery will feature rotating exhibitions, artist talks, collaborative community programming, and curated shows highlighting Boston-based talent alongside global contemporary voices.
