Samuel Sediles was born and raised in Nicaragua. His primary place of work is Colombia. He was awarded an honorable mention of the Fernando Botero Award by the Fundación de Jóvenes Artistas (Young Artists Foundation). Sediles’ mainly acrylic-based canvas artwork is Impressionistic in nature, playing with empty space and shapes in what he paints. His work utilizes drips of color that contrast heavily against the vivid primary color backgrounds seen in his work.
